Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Schools

Freedom to Draw and Paint

ABOUT THE FOUNDER, LARRY GLUCK

Born in New York on April 9th, 1931, Larry studied under Italian portrait master, Giuseppe Trotta.  From 1961 to 1970, Larry lived and painted in the U.S. Virgin Islands where he gained international recognition for his watercolor depictions of the island of St. Thomas.

In 1971, Larry and his family moved to Los Angeles where his many admirers urged him to teach.  In 1975, he founded Mission: Renaissance to reinstate traditional fine art skills no longer being taught in art schools.  Today, Larry maintains an active role in the expansion of Mission: Renaissance.
